Our clinic
Dharma Reiki & Acupuncture is a holistic healing clinic providing acupuncture, Chinese herbal treatment, Reiki energy healing, and Reiki practitioner courses. We have served the Greater Houston area since 2008, dedicating our passion and services to healing our patients with methods that are natural and effective, safe and drug free.
Our clinic started out in 2008 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, known as St. Teresa Acupuncture Wellness Clinic and co-founded by our acupuncturist April Bui. In 2015, our clinic ceased to be a nonprofit and became a privately owned acupuncture and Reiki clinic under April's continuing management.
We provide comprehensive care with special focus in the areas of internal medicine, women's health, pain management, energetic works, emotional and trauma healing. Our Reiki courses are now offered monthly to anyone interested in becoming a Reiki practitioner.
Core principles
Our healing philosophy, practice, and services are based on five core principles:

Patient-focused and result-focused. Patients and their issues are the top priorities at our clinic. Giving patients our 100% best to achieve the best possible outcome are our foremost goals.

Long-term results. Proper healing should never be a temporary fix. We support our patients' healing not only in the initial intensive phase of treatment but also to achieve sustainable, long-term improvement.

Addressing the root cause of problems. This is our foundational healing principle and protocol. A problem can never be resolved without getting to the root of it.

Gentle healing methods. We believe that healing should be gentle to the body as well as to the spirit. Harsh, violent, or traumatic forms of healing perhaps can achieve a temporary fix but will create further damage to the body, and at deeper levels will leave trauma imprints in the emotional, mental, and/or spiritual body. Trauma-related energetic imprints anywhere in the human system will eventually produce diseases or dysfunctions.

Dharma Reiki & Acupuncture is more than a health facility, it's a healing sanctuary ensconced within the busy, hustling-bustling Memorial City / Spring Branch district of Houston. We provide a quiet and serene space where our patients can retreat from the hecticness of their day to heal the physical body as well as nourish the soul. Our relaxing, slow-paced clinic makes it possible for administering personalized and attentive care to each patient, where healing is never rushed and our patients feel that they're being seen, heard, and well cared for.
